Welcome to the Cubs Homepage



Cub Scouts are between the ages of 8 and 10½.

1st Frankby Greasby has 2 Cub Packs that meet on
Monday & Tuesday evenings 6.30 pm to 8 pm

They meet together in a Pack of up to 36, which is then split into Sixes.

1st Frankby Greasby has one of the biggest Cub Sections in the District of West Wirral.

They do Great Activities on there Pack Nights and regularly go away on camps at numerous locations including Tawd Vale.

Other Regular Activities Include:-

  • Week and Weekend Camps - Feast of Lanterns & Winding at Tawd Vale, District Camps at Hadlow Fields, Summer Camps at various locations this year Linnot Clough, Group Weekend Camp at 1st FG, Sixes Weekend at the Old School Lodge Activity Centre in Snowdonia.

  • Outdoor Activties -Kayaking, Canoeing, Sailing, Rafting, Skiing, Tobogganing, Climbing, Archery, Laser Rifle Shooting, Night Hiking, Etc,

  • Annual Visits & Trips -Camelot Theme Park, Manchester Science Museum, RAF Cosford,

  • Competitions -5 a side football, Swimming Gala, District Quizzes, Safety Poster Competition, Tug of War,

  • Badge of Work -A wide range of activity badges sutable for many interests are awarded over the two and half years within the cubs.

  • Craftwork -Lots of different arts and crafts.
