SCOUT HOMEPAGE



Scouts are between the ages of 10½ and 14 years.

1st Frankby Greasby will have 2 Scout Troops that will meet on
Wednesday & Friday evenings around 6.30 pm to 8.15 pm

They meet together in a Troop of up to 20, which is then split into Patrols.

1st Frankby Greasby has a fantastic scout troop that will be even bigger and better when we open Friday nights doors to new members.

They do Great Activities on there Troop Nights and regularly go away on camps at numerous locations including Tawd Vale.

Other Regular Activities Include:-

  • Week and Weekend Camps - Feast of Lanterns and Great Escape weekend at Tawd Vale, District Camps at Hadlow Fields, Summer Camps at various locations this year Linnot Clough, Group Weekend Camp at 1st FG, Wild Scout Camp Weekends at the Old School Lodge Activity Centre in Snowdonia and camping rough in the mountains.

  • Adventurous Outdoor Activties -Kayaking, Canoeing, Sailing, Rafting, Skiing, Tobogganing, Climbing, Archery, Rifle Shooting, Wide Games, Night Hiking, Moutaineering, Orienteering, BiviingEtc,

  • Annual Visits & Trips -Laser Quest, Ice Skating, Bowling, Swimming, Etc

  • Competitions -5 a side football, Swimming Gala, District Quizzes, Bowling Competition, Tug of War,

  • Badge of Work -Scouts do wide range of interest and activity badges that prepare them for the Duke of Edinburgh awards and Queen Scout Award.

    West Wirral Centenary Day Event Saturday 7th June

    Can all those that have already paid their deposits for this event please forward the final sum of £15 in an envelope marked Centenary Day with your child's name on it to your section leader by w/c 21st April. Thankyou!

    One day activity forms will be coming soon!!

    The Scouts will be attending our district West Wirral Centenary Celebration
